A training experience towards Agile marketing

Should we search for [agile marketing], Google might return the so called Agile Marketing Manifesto, issued in 2012 [1]. This would remind of course the Manifesto for Agile Software Development [2], which was issued eleven years before, in 2001.

But today, in 2019, for the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), the management question est neither "Why ?" nor "What ?" but "How ?".

To help CMOs and their teams to reinvent their current marketing capability into an Agile marketing capability, Do-Khac Decision, a management consulting SME which delivers innovative methods and tools for Agility and Happiness at work at scale of large enterprises and administrations [3], proposes to share its own Agile maketing journey [4] during a training seminar.

A 16 months agile marketing journey



Do-Khac Decision expects that the seminar would be tightly taylored to the business needs and therefore co-produced with the client enterprise.

However, for quick hit results, Do-Khac Decision can deliver an on the shelf seminar.

The objectif of the seminar is give an experience of a "trigger capability" [5].

During this seminar, the participants make a "retrospective" of Do-Khac Decision journey.

The retrospective is structured by  5 stage
  • Stage 1 : 2016, business background (market, players,...) 
  • Stage 2 : Nov. 2017, getting aware of a pivot opportunity
  • Stage 3 : 2018, building the pivot
  • Stage 4 : Feb. 2019, proof of pivot done
  • Stage 5 : beyond 2019
Each stage is paced with "trigger events" [5a][5b] that bring specific opportunities to get experience of Agile marketing practices and tools.

The participants team into small groups that simulate sdifferent enterprises.
Each team gets a coach to ensure that it makes good progress and is not left behind.

The passage from a stage to the next occurs when all teams have passed the key trigger events and made/collected the key deliverables.
Additional trigger events might be casted in by the coaches, making the experience more instructive and fun.

To ensure that the experience reflects real life as much as possible, the participants are invited to explore and tap into Tru Do-Khac's design management open universe which has been tracing Do-Khac Decision journey since 2009.

A fantastic exploration tool would be Google Images [6]

2015 : La méthode "IT Regime Management" et ses outils d'intelligence collective émotionnelle présélectionnés par l'association Pacte PME pour le compte d'une entreprise membre recherchant des solutions innovantes pour des économies en systèmes d'information et télécom.

2015 ; Lors de la cinquième édition de l'IT Innovation Forum parraînée par le Club des Responsables d'Infrastructure et de Production (CRIP) le 27 janvier dernier, l'innovation frugale du "Personal MOOC" a reçu le Trophée IT Innovation Forum dans la catégorie Enterprise Mobility / Collaboratif.

2017 : Le serious game La Maîtrise d'Usage a été retenu par le SGA / ministère des arméés pour être présenté dans l'espace startup de "Innovation Défense en soutien des armées", une manifestation organisée dans le cadre de la Semaine de l'Innovation Publique du 20 au 26 novembre 2017.
