Who are we ?

Founded in 2006, Do-Khac Decision operates two businesses:
  1. a legacy business : digital innovation and IT project management consulting
  2. an emerging business : Agile games franchisor, of which business model is similar to the business model of IT management best practices editors (Axelos, editor of ITIL®, The Open Group, editor of TOGAF®, Scaled Agile, editor of SAFe®,...)[1]

The consulting business was operated from 2006 to 2010, and Dô-Khac Decision has served large public operators: SNCF (French railways transport), RFF (French railways infrastructures) [2], Groupe La Poste (French Post Office).

In 2010, Tru Dô-Khac's research works are nominated to a prize organized by Ae-SCM, a professional association of IT sourcing managers, and AIM, the French chapter of Association for Information Systems (AIS), to support academical research on sourcing and client supplier relationships [3].

This nomination encourages Dô-Khac Decision to pursue the research works, but with a design thinking approach.

Aspiring to create a management framework that would bear the French management culture [4], Dô-Khac Decision has followed an open innovation policy. As a matter of fact, Tru Dô-Khac founded two think tanks within the Ecole Polytechnique alumni association: X-Intellectual-Property [5], in 2008 and X-Open-Innovation[6], in 2012.

For most IT managers, the research and the first derived products, - management methods-, were felt too disruptive to implement and to engage Do-Khac Decision consulting services.

Nevertheless,
  • the Ministry of Defense placed three limited order for consulting services, in 2010, in 2012, as BearingPoint subcontractor, and in 2017, as Deloitte subcontractor [7];
  • the association of IT managers CRIP awarded an IT Innovation Trophy (Jan. 2015) to the Personal MOOC [8], a frugal cloud service for editing online courses that Dô-Khac Decision developed to share its methodologies [9].

Finally, in November 2017, the Ministry of Defense invited Do-Khac Decision to hold a booth at "Innovation Défense en soutien de armées" exhibition [10]. Encouraged by the visitors' feedback, Dô-Khac Decision has engaged early this year on twenty-six IT services calls for tender issued by public operators [11]. This campaign turned out into a marketing study on Agile instruments sourcing that compelled Dô-Khac Decision to pivot to the Agile game franchisor business [12].

Under its social responsibility, Dô-Khac Decision initiated " Donner le sens et le goût des maths au collège " project [13], animates X-Diversity community [14], supports " Les Entretiens de l’Excellence ", a non governmental organisation which militates for diversity and equal opportunities towards higher studies[15], and militates for business and social loyalty towards creators and authors [16].
